Jefferson County Conservation District

NOTICE OF PROJECT TO CONSTRUCT LIVESTOCK/FARM EQUIPMENT BRIDGE AND NOTICE OF SEPA DETERMINATION 

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Jefferson County Conservation District has issued a determination of non-significance (DNS) under the State Environmental Policy Act Rules (Chapter 197-11 WAC) on April 27, 2016, for construction of a livestock/farm equipment bridge over Chimacum Creek.  The project is located within the NENE of Section 31, Township 29N., Range 1W.  W.M., in Jefferson County.  The project is to install a wooden livestock and farm equipment bridge in a location where a temporary culvert was removed following a timber harvest.  The Jefferson County Conservation District, as SEPA lead agency for this project, has determined it will not have a probable significant adverse impact on the environment. The District has issued a DETERMINATION OF NONSIGNIFICANCE for the project, which can be obtained from the address shown below. The public is invited to comment on this DNS by submitting written comments no later than May 18, 2016 to Jefferson County Conservation District, 205 W. Patison St., Port Hadlock WA 98339, or via e-mail at info@jeffersoncd.org  Written appeals of this determination must be received no later than May 18, 2016.
