Join us for a free forest health workshop on Saturday, April 4th from 11:30-3:30pm at Finnriver and Chimacum Ridge Community Forest.

Hosted and presented by Jefferson County Conservation District, Mason Conservation District, Department of Natural Resrouces, and Jefferson Land Trust.

Please dress to be comfortable outside for the day, rain or shine. Bring plenty of water and snacks and a sack lunch or money to purchase lunch at Finnriver. We will start the workshop with a presentation in the Haybarn at Finnriver. We'll take a short lunch break, where you can purchase food at Finnriver or bring your sack lunch over to Chimacum Ridge Community Forest (CRCF). Parking is limited at CRCF! We'll carpool in as few vehicles as possible from Finnriver to the site. We'll spend the afternoon in the woods learning more about forest management and practicing some forest stand assessment techniques.
