The Jefferson County Conservation District works closely with the Natural Resources Conservation Service to help residents steward the natural resources on land they own and/or manage.

We work with landowners to help identify the technical and financial assistance program(s) that best fit their needs, which often includes programs such as NRCS EQIP, or a new Riparian Buffer Program, which you can read more about below.
